Shalom Chamo is a culmination of 3 years of planning, and blood sweat andtears of its two owners. The name Shalom Chamo is a blend of the owners’original languages, one being from Israel and the other from Venezuela. Shalom is originally a Hebrew word and has become internationally recognized meaning peace, hello and good-bye. The word Chamo, comes from Venezuelaand it is a slang commonly used to mean either kid, or friend.

This property is nestled a mere 2 kilometers from the town of Uvita, Costa Rica and Rio Morete.This places it a 2–3-minute driving distance from all activities in town when driving or 20-25minutes walking distance. This makes it an ideal and extremely convenient location to get torestaurants, supermarkets, car rentals, beaches, etc. There’s also an ATV rental place just up ahop skip and a jump a few houses up the street.

The Shalom Chamo complex is comprised of 3 rental units plus an owner’s home, all within walking distance to the Morete river.

The first unit or Casa Israel,

is 5x7 meters (377 square feet). There are 2 additional units that are5x8 meters (16x26 feet), those are casa Arepa and Venezuela.

The fourth unit is the owner’shouse

which contains 2 large bedrooms and an open concept living quarters with a total of 120m2 (1292 ft2). This one is called casa Maracay.

As the centerpiece of the property, there is a beautiful 4x10 meters (13x33 feet) pool. In this area besides enjoying the views of the pool and its beautiful and calming water fountain, guests canalso access internet and charge their devices. Across from the outdoor kitchen and on the otherside of the pool, you will find an easy access outdoor shower for when you return from the beachand need removing any excess beach salt and sand.

The modern 5x7 unit named Casa Israel, was designed with the intent of capturing the essence of Costa Rica’s rich sun lit days as well as wildlife. This unit is fully furnished equipped with a single Queen size bed, full kitchen (comprised of coffee maker, stove, oven, blender, fridge, etc), a small sitting area and bathroom. Each unit has a beautifully vaulted ceiling, a skylight, ceiling fan and airconditioning. For the times when you just feel like enjoying the outdoor weather, there is a small sitting area in the front of the unit with a table and 4 stools overlooking the pool.

The modern 5x8 units named Casa Venezuela and Casa Arepa, have been designed with similarintent as casa Israel-they are fully furnished and contain 2 Queen size beds, full kitchen (withcoffee maker, stove, oven, blender, fridge, etc.), living room with smart TV and bathroom. Each unit has a beautifully vaulted ceiling, skylight, ceiling fan and air conditioning. For the times when you just feel like enjoying the outdoor weather, there is a small sitting area just in the front of the unit. For late night screen free fun, all the casitas are equipped with some board/card games.

Last but not least; is the rental unit at the owner’s home that is

fully furnished (Casa Maracay)measuring 120 mt2 (1292 ft2). This home has everything a family is looking for and contains 2 large bedrooms, each with 2 queen size beds, sleeping 8 people comfortably.

This beautiful property has a total of 9 queen size beds and can host up to 18 people (having 2 in each bed). It is a great place to consider when having a more intimate retreat place. Centrally located so close to the beaches, waterfalls, ATV tours, horse tours, whale wathching tours, etc. it makes it not only a magical place but a convenient one too.
